If I get gel nails with a white tip, can I get coloured polish next time, and then go back to white tip?

without starting over with a new set?If I get gel nails with a white tip, can I get coloured polish next time, and then go back to white tip?
Of course you can do that. No, you would not need to get them replaced with a new set.

Just an idea: if you go to a good salon, and not one of these discount places, then you may be able to get a soakable UV gel which is formulated to look like nail polish and comes in many colors. Many of the UV nail gel companies are just starting to come out with these products, and they are applied pretty much in the same way as polish is. Then, they are cured for 2 minutes for each layer of color under a UV lamp. The finished result is a super long lasting nail color which doesn't chip, or peel. And when you decide to have it removed, the tech can either soak it off or file it off. The UV gel nails underneath it will not be damaged by this either because that type of gel cannot be soaked off.

Just a thought!!If I get gel nails with a white tip, can I get coloured polish next time, and then go back to white tip?
Absolutely. However, you might need to do a little more than just remove the polish to go back to white tip. You might have to get a buffer block and buff off a little residual stain from the polish to really get it back 100%.
